Doing the things that help you feel like yourself first thing in the a.m. is always cool but getting militant about it as we get closer to the winter solstice is a game changer. It’s like the whole #makeitwithyourwholeheart vibe to #AOLAB gets seriously cellular-deep…and instinctively I want to be giving my body all the things it can make everything IT needs to power through autumn & winter with my whole heart. In the Autumn, I crave vitamins from real food/no filler, and if I’m going to be eating bread for fuel (outside of all things almond flour) it’s primarily going to be sourdough. Even over the great keto breads currently on tap [check our carbonaut ]. Whatever it is, the eggier it gets for me. & there’s a #locavore rooted progression when I’m doing it right. A few minutes egg might shift to hearty quiche by November. Even in California, by the end of September my body is craving a completely different level of care in the early a.m. I think it’s partially due to how drastic the shift to dayUps feels as the night sticks around for longer than this early bird prefers [ never say mornings if you don’t feel like mourning lol].
