Here’s how #martinlutherkingjr began that speech that they whitewashed to just “#ihaveadream.”

If we’re going to fn quote Mlk… let’s fn quotes motherfucking Martin Luther King.

They whitewashed his message with his own blood after assassinating him For this quote & intent.

And #truthhurts but
That government hit(& look it up. The family won in court against the United states of America)… is the fleshed out equivalent of every time a white person tells a black person their problem is with How that black person expresses how they feel on this racism thing because now the white person feels awkward, accused, victimized or whatever else they say to invalidate it.

Every time you try to nullify a person of color because the tonality of their sincerely expressed heart makes you feel uncomfortable and/ or accountable you are moving in that same wannabe #assassinator energy.

Not punching you in the face… I’mAsking you to wake up to the true nature of those psychological moves your ancestors seeded you with… played out to fruition on a despicable macrocosmic scale in hopes of awakening an acute comprehension in microcosmic interactions in your sphere of influence.

And he went on to accuse the United States of being a moral skinflint when it came to honoring the debts of justice. “It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned.”

“Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked ‘insufficient funds,’ ” King said. This part of the speech has been mostly forgotten, swamped in collective memory by the soaring rhetoric of King’s peroration. When initial renderings for the new Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial were first unveiled, they included a prominent place for the promissory-note metaphor, but as the project went forward the quotation was deemed “too confrontational” and dropped from the final design.

Everything seen at that US Capitol on the 6th on the inside and out… is vehemently keyed to that still pretty much defaulted on promise.
