You, Observing…what’s going on in you really does change things. Not can. Does.

Sometimes, the Meditative call is not to sit in a crosslegged position.

Sometimes, the call is to walk. It’s really a thing. It is called “walking meditation.” Go figure lol. Not so much going ON a walk, though it taps into soothing similar synapses. you walk slowly in a circle in whatever space you can have to yourself at the moment, conscious of every step you take.

Those folks who drop and make themselves do 50 push-ups to clear their heads? They’re stroking the same synapses, oxidizing things internally, helping their cells breathe to soothe them.

Sometimes, it’s a call to cook. That’s the one that often surprises folks. All that focused preparation and execution is the redheaded stepbrother- the hot Prince Harry of Mindfulness.

Don’t hide from what’s going on in your head…witness it…and let it wash past.

Watch it try to refuse to. & recognize that those thoughts are like deer with raised legs in the woods at you even slowing down enough to catch sight of them.

You, Observing…what’s going on in you really does change shit.

It changes how you see. Changes what you hear. & it changes your entire impact in whatever you’re in.
