so… there were 1 million residents of Chicago in the 1890 census. The world’s fair of 1893 supposedly hosted 27 million people across six months. There were only 67 million people in America at the time, and 7.5 million were Black, who were refused the chance to exhibit at it and many boycotted it.

And only 8000 car owners existed by 1900 (gilded age hilt). MOST of the population of America couldn’t afford food to feed their kids and sold them into farm labor, let alone train rides to the world’s fair. There were not enough hotels in chicago to house 27million visitors, possibly even today.

They’ve been lying for a very long time.
