...and yeah. Most Evangelicals are passively primed to HATE Catholics from the pulpit. They even call themselves the Catholic Church in their reading of their beliefs because-as it was explained to me, the actual meaning of the word IS Christian. So it depends on where you go. But all that martyrs and saints synching up with the Santeria and Yoruba orishas et al of their slaves freaked them out a lot back in the day.

I won't say lowkey wannabe usurper as usual energy. I will say those that hear God for real hear him wherever they go. & Real Ones still try to speak that actual bona fide message of love underneath the powerplay nonsense to those stumbling into churches desperately needing resonance. But ya gotta remember...demons love church too. Not just for the shooting in a barrel aspect. I think the framework reminds them of home.
