The first one passive-aggressively accuses Andrea Skinner of having ulterior motives for speaking up publicly about being attacked as a child, moments after clearly stating that she truly was. It’s a tonal shift attempt always attempted by those who benefit from doubt being cast on the victim.
It NEVER crosses these people’s minds that the First response should be utter outrage and contempt towards the adult who attacked the kid and the ones who covered it up or helped the kid self medicate & /or gaslight themselves into continued, unchecked interaction with the sickos.
The onus is always put upon the survivor of sexual abuse who has the courage to speak up…as a first defense by the system in place that encourages the abuse of kids.
…and no, you can’t just write it off on the bogeyman patriarchy. As this case showcases, women selfishly wronging other women and even their own children of their own fucking conscious volition is Often at the root of these heinous acts.
The second, 3:45 minute mark query of “Why’d she wait until Munro died? ” is not just also frontloaded with doubt tonally, attempting to make the viewer whimper
“Hey! This…person is doing a bad thing, they’re gone! They can’t defend themselves-! ”
the mindfuck enablers hope to trigger in ANY who come in contact with a survivor speaking out posthumously.
That is the machine’s main intent.
Recenter the Abuser in the tale, and do it to try to steal the victim’s power that led to them having spoken out…back. For the beast that bit them.
Lockhart handled it well. He made it clear this was Andrea’s schedule, her healing and her war cry to others suffering the aftermath of this shit in silence.
In other words ” Fuck Alice Munro. Fuck your hero who literally sanctioned the rape of her own child , stayed with the pedophile and then turned around and wrote stories to rub in that child’s face that she knew, could empathize and baldly chose not to. FACE WHAT SHE DID TO HER CHILD.
It’s no longer centered on her.
Skinner has the floor.
survivors everywhere.
But it is also an Expression of how truly sick these people are.
Because that well-prepared query was asked when the current story is that Skinner did not nefariously wait until Munro died to lob this shameful(to whom?victim or abuser?) accusation.
The media knows the truth because the media is running all the angles at the same time to downplay Skinner standing her ground.
Skinner pressed charges.
Skinner reached out to the press.
Skinner Told biographers who chose instead to keep spinning the lies for pending book royalties.
Twenty years deep. Just shy of.
The same media profiting off of clicks on her story Today shunned her for speaking out for twenty fucking years.
Activity with a paper trail that, even as this segment aired, those enabling, burying the lead fuckers are waving around, screaming
yahtzee! I failed Skinner too! Look at me! Give me some of that shine! Pay me that dark tribute! I was an original victimizer! Don’t leave me out of her finally getting the spotlight!

I wish every person mentioned in the articles as having been told in 2005 who admit to hiding it were dragged into the street and killed.
Because their deceitful enabling was consciously a murder attempt of Skinner, then. For her truth impacting their gravy train. Their speaking up now to be mentioned in the news is detestable…and they deserve to die for it.

…with there being no doubt as to why they were killed.
They are as guilty as Munro. Of trying to eat off that kid’s trauma. Again.
