He’d rather them be washed away than be helped by the current govt because if they are able to receive help from FEMA that instance of help could feasibly sway their hearts in the voting booth.
So Trump’s game-plan is an ipso facto decree that their deaths from listening to him be seen a sacrifice to the cause at best, caused by the side he made it anathema for them to listen to in order to survive as members of the cult.

& instead of doling that over seven million dollars out, that already 7x the initial fund-raising goal… that money is sitting there…
So Trump can be shown it like a lolly.
