Fun fact? I was being cajoled by people who loved me and gave actual fucks about me soon as I’d launched my line in 98 to come be based out here. Maybe if I’d listened the 25+year drought wouldn’t have occured 😅.

It’s special to me (aka: ‘my dawg in this race’) because an old friend used to joke that I brought the rains with me when I finally did move out here to Calif the spring of 2016. That I triggered the formation of a rainy season in the drought-ridden desert this state was😶‍🌫️🫣. That it wasn’t supposed to rain like this lol.

But he didn’t know better. Calif used to be an island paradise. Of sorts, or almost. More recently than “American history” and it’s lies tell you. Humans caused that drought. Doing stupid, greedy, human things.

Kinda like what these techbros are doing now. Using all the water to run the buildings that…digitally store the “data” of all the people living in the ecosystems and communities those data centers are trying to turn into cemeteries. They’re idiots.

Gaia is going to honor her words to the spirits of these places. Whether she has to wash humans away to do it or not.
