I knew i was moving to NYC at 13, the summer of 88, heading into 9th grade. But that spread, in August of 92( the September issue of Vogue) explained to me WHY I was. I’d found my people…and they were leaping across rooftops in tophats and tails in broad daylight, like it was the most natural thing in the world…because it was.

it wasn’t Just “find Tails…” I technically found like 7 tux tails over the more than a quarter of a f ureaking century lol. It’s the how of the tails that has been specifically searched for 34 years. Yall who know me know how it is when my specificity kink kicks in.
